Shourya Nitin Ravekar, a student of Class VII at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Kamptee, has been selected to participate in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) National Sports Boxing Competition, scheduled to take place in Jhansi from July 23 to 27.
Shourya will compete in the girls’ 44 kg weight category, representing her school at the national-level sporting event, which is being hosted by the Agra Division of Uttar Pradesh.
Expressing her gratitude, Shourya credited her achievement to Principal J.K. Ramteke and sports teacher Dinesh Chapane for their support and encouragement. She is also an active member of the Boxing Association, Kamptee Taluka, where she trains regularly.
Coaches Pankaj Nalandarwar and Ayush Shende from her training centre have extended their best wishes to Shourya, expressing confidence in her performance at the national stage.
