Steady rainfall since early Tuesday morning has left several parts of Nagpur waterlogged, affecting normal life and causing difficulties for daily commuters.
After two days of pleasant weather and light drizzles, the city woke up to consistent showers around 5 AM. The continuous rain led to water accumulation on main roads and low-lying areas, significantly slowing down traffic movement.
Office-goers and schoolchildren were particularly affected during the morning rush hours, as vehicles crawled through flooded streets and public transport services faced delays.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Nagpur, forecasting intermittent rain over the next 48 hours. Citizens have been advised to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel in vulnerable areas.
