Delhi Public School, MIHAN, recently concluded the exciting Pro Vice Chairperson Cup – Inter-School Futsal Tournament 2025 with a grand closing ceremony held on campus. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Owais Khan, who was joined by dignitaries, faculty members, and sports enthusiasts, making it a vibrant celebration of athletic excellence.
Pro Vice Chairperson Ms. Tulika Kedia commended the students for their dedication and emphasized the importance of sports in developing confidence and team spirit. Principal Ms. Nidhi Yadav congratulated all winners and extended best wishes to every participant.
Spanning four days, the tournament brought together 30 teams from 25 reputed schools competing in four categories — Under-13 Boys, Under-15 Boys, Under-17 Girls, and Under-17 Boys. Young athletes showcased impressive talent, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the matches.
DPS MIHAN clinched titles in the Under-13 and Under-15 Boys categories, defeating DPS Lava and DPS Kamptee Road, respectively. Aditya Bang and Rudra Shende were named Best Goalkeepers, while S. Videsh and Shree K. Tanush were awarded Player of the Tournament.
In the Under-17 Girls final, St. Joseph School emerged victorious against DPS Lava, with Swarangi S. recognized as Best Goalkeeper and Arya Thakre as Player of the Tournament. The Under-17 Boys category saw Bhavan’s Trimurti Nagar edge past DPS MIHAN, with Hardhwardhan Rathod and Ayush Bopche receiving top individual honors.
Chief Guest Mr. Owais Khan lauded the discipline, passion, and sportsmanship displayed by the participants and praised DPS MIHAN for providing a strong platform to nurture young talent. The tournament concluded with the felicitation of all winners and participants, highlighting DPS MIHAN’s commitment to holistic education and promoting sports culture among students.
