Nagpur: In a shocking case, Sonegaon Police have arrested a 27-year-old guitar teacher from Civil Lines for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old student at his music academy in Ujjwal Nagar. The accused, identified as Sagar Singh Parosia, is accused of using a gun and knife to intimidate the girl and repeatedly threatening to kill her parents.
Police said the victim had joined guitar lessons at Rockstar Academy, located on the third floor of Sunshine Apartment, Ujjwal Nagar, about two months ago. Initially, Parosia — also known by the alias Samsung — behaved normally, but soon began making inappropriate physical contact with her during classes.
On July 23, 2025, Parosia allegedly phoned the girl, warning that he would kill her parents if she did not come to the class within ten minutes. When she arrived, he allegedly brandished a gun and knife, forcing her into his flat inside Sunshine Apartment, where he sexually assaulted her.
Investigations revealed that the accused repeatedly called the victim back to his flat on various occasions, threatening her with weapons and coercing her into physical relations. He allegedly warned he would murder her mother, Vaishali, and father if she resisted.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case under Sections 64 and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Sections 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and Section 4/25 of the Arms Act. A search at his residence also led to the recovery of a sword.
The Sonegaon Police crime branch tracked down Parosia and took him into custody. He remains in police remand as further investigation continues.
