The Directorate of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary) has issued the timetable for the special round of the centralised online admission process for Class 11 for the academic year 2025–26.
During this round, students can correct details in Part 1 of their application, view vacant seats, and complete Part 2 by listing between one and ten preferred higher secondary schools. Those who did not secure admission in the ‘Open to All’ round can update their choices.
Allotment results will be published on the admission portal and sent via SMS. Cut-off lists will also be displayed, after which students must confirm their admission at the allotted junior college by checking allotment details and uploading the required documents. Colleges will then verify applications and either confirm or reject admissions.
The special round will be held from August 12 to 13, with allotment results declared on August 14 at 11 am, admission confirmation open until August 17 at 6 pm, and the entire process concluding on August 20 at 5 pm.
Meanwhile, the quota admission process will run simultaneously. Colleges are required to update quota seat availability, display vacancies, and process applications. Quota applicants must re-lock their preferences for the special round. Institutions will publish merit lists, inform selected students, and complete admissions after document verification.
Director of Education Mahesh Palkar emphasised that all schools, junior colleges, and students must strictly adhere to the prescribed schedule.
