TiE Nagpur, a not-for-profit organization in Nagpur known for fostering entrepreneurship, organized a curtain raiser event at the Chitnavis Center yesterday to announce the Foodpreneur Summit, a premier event to be held on September 12th, 2025 for the entrepreneurs in the food domain. This curtain raiser was organized in partnership with the National Entrepreneurship Mission (NEM), an organization dedicated to spreading the entrepreneurial spirit among the masses and to support the Govt’s mass entrepreneurship goals. NEM and their representatives conducted a workshop for food industry entrepreneurs. The curtain raiser also included a keynote by Mr. Mithilesh Vazalwar from Corridor7, a prominent coffee shop in Nagpur.
The Foodpreneur Summit will be held at IIM Nagpur, which is also the academic partner for this event. Foodpreneur Summit’s chief goal is to bring together over 500 individuals, including food entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, influencers, and policymakers from Nagpur to address various problems plaguing the food industry in and around Nagpur city. Among those prominently attending the Summit are Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Mr. Indranil Chitale from Chitale Bandhu Pune, Gurpreet Singh Tikku, Veteran Food Influencer, Storyteller & Digital Tastemaker, Mr. Sidharth Bhakoo Chief Business Officer, Food Marketplace, Swiggy, Mr. Vithal V. Kamat, Executive Chairman & MD, Kamat Hotels, Mr. Shashank Rao, Managing Director, Café Niloufer, Hyderabad, Mr. Sagar Daryani, CEO, Wow Momos, Nagpur’s own Dilip Kamdar, Founder of the Naivedhyam Group and Shri Narendra Jog, Director Jog Hospitality.
The Summit will provide attendees with an opportunity to mingle with above mentioned celebrities, interact with them, seek their advice on various issues and get practical tips about the art and science of food industry from these experts.
