Passengers on the Nagpur–Mumbai route, who have long demanded better frequency and convenience, will now get additional options. IndiGo Airlines has decided to start one more flight, making it a total of seven daily flights connecting Nagpur and Mumbai.
The new flight will commence from September 3 and will continue until October 25 under the summer schedule. After that, it will be included in the winter schedule depending on demand and availability.
According to IndiGo, flight 6E-163 will depart from Mumbai at 9:30 a.m. and reach Nagpur at 11:05 a.m. The return service, flight 6E-5129, will depart from Nagpur at 11:30 a.m. and land in Mumbai at 12:55 p.m.
With this addition, passengers will now have four flights from Nagpur to Mumbai in the morning, and three in the evening. Currently, the first flight from Nagpur departs at 5:40 a.m., the second at 7:35 a.m., and the third at 8:15 a.m. Evening flights are scheduled at 4:55 p.m., 10:10 p.m., and 10:35 p.m.
