Nagpur Municipal Corporation has arranged 19 Nirmalya Raths in ten zones. These Nirmalya Raths have been arranged by the agencies AG Enviro and BVG. Toll free numbers have also been issued by both the agencies for the arrangement of these Raths.
In Laxminagar , Dharampeth , Hanuman Nagar , Dhantoli and Nehru Nagar zones, Nirmalya Raths have been arranged by the AG Enviro Agency and the toll free number for this is 18002677966 while for Gandhibag , Satranjipura , Lakadganj , Ashinagar and Margherita, the toll free number 18002662101 has been issued by the BVG Agency.
For the eco-friendly Ganeshotsav, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation collects the Nirmalya from various Ganesh Mandals in the city every year in a special Nirmalya Kalash . Every year, 10 Nirmalya Raths were arranged, one in each of the 10 zones. But considering the response received to these Raths , 9 additional Raths have been added this year , and this year 19 Nirmalya Raths will be available in ten zones . This also includes 5 electric e-Raths. This includes 12 vehicles from A.G. Enviro and 7 vehicles from BVG India.
