Undergraduate and postgraduate students from Government Dental College and Hospital (GDCH), Nagpur, have achieved remarkable success in both scientific and cultural arenas.
The Intercollegiate Postgraduate Symposium “INTERLINK 2025”, held on August 19, 2025, at Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College and Research Center, Nagpur, saw enthusiastic participation from dental colleges across the Vidarbha region. Presentations were held in two categories: Original Research and Clinical Cases. GDCH Nagpur secured First Prize in the Clinical Category and Second Prize in the Research Category, reflecting the students’ dedication, teamwork, and commitment to academic excellence. Dr. Vaibhav Karemore, as LINK Incharge, and Dr. Akshay Dhoble, as Chairpersons for the Clinical and Research categories respectively, provided invaluable guidance and academic leadership.
In a cultural highlight coinciding with Independence Day, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) organized the IMA SA RE GA MA Intercollegiate Singing Competition for medical students at IMA Hall. Six medical colleges participated in this prestigious 21st edition of the event. Team GDCH Nagpur emerged as winners, with Ms. Radhika Dhok awarded Best Female Singer and Ms. Saumya Tiwari receiving a Consolation Prize. Ms. Kshitija Megde’s performance was also highly appreciated by the judges. The students were mentored by Dr. Vaibhav Karemore (College Coordinator), Dr. Rakesh Bahadure, and Dr. Suryakant Deogade.
These accomplishments reflect the unwavering support and guidance of the institution, ably led by Dean Dr. Mangesh Phadnaik and the dedicated faculty members.
