To curb rising road mishaps and ensure smoother vehicular movement, the Nagpur Traffic Police have intensified safety measures across several overspeeding and accident-prone areas in the city. Officials informed that new barricading and traffic-calming interventions have been deployed to minimize risks for motorists and pedestrians.
As part of this initiative, barricades and monitoring points have been set up at Sangharsh Nagar, Tukdoji Square to Wanjari Nagar stretch, Omkar Nagar Chowk, Tapasya Vidyalaya area, Mankapur Square near Chandmari Masjid, Chikhli Chowk, Bharatnagar Chowk, Kamgar Nagar to Automotive Chowk road, and Saimandir Cutting in Jaripatka. Additional locations include Vita Bhatti Chowk to Vinoba Bhave Chowk, Chhatrapati Chowk to Pratap Nagar Chowk corridor, and Wadi Naka No. 10.
