Actress Priya Marathe passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the age of 38. She succumbed to cancer after a prolonged illness and breathed her last at her Mira Road residence. Known for her versatile performances, Marathe made her mark in both Hindi and Marathi television with shows such as Char Divas Sasuche, Kasamh Se, Pavitra Rishta, Uttaran, Tu Tithe Me, Bhaage Re Mann, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, and Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji. Her demise has left the entertainment fraternity in mourning.
She was last seen in the Marathi show Tuzech Mi Geet Gaat Aahe. The show ended in June 2024.
Priya got married to actor Shantanu Moghe in 2012. After 2024, she was not active on Instagram. She had last posted on August 11, 2024.
