A suspected bird strike caused panic on IndiGo’s Nagpur–Kolkata flight 6E812 on Tuesday. The aircraft, carrying 272 passengers, was forced to return and land safely at Nagpur Airport after the incident.
Senior Airport Director Abid Ruhi confirmed that officials are analyzing the situation, and further details are awaited.
According to sources, several well-known personalities, including Sudhakar Kohle, Shekhar Bhoyar, and Nitin Kumbhalkar, were on board the flight. Fortunately, all passengers are reported safe.
Airport authorities have launched an investigation into the suspected bird hit, and engineers are inspecting the aircraft before it can be cleared for operations again.
