Nagpur: The South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is organizing a Mṛnmaya Kalā Kāryashālā (Clay Workshop) in Nagpur from September 8 to 12, 2025.
The workshop will be held at the SCZCC premises, Civil Lines, Nagpur. Sessions are scheduled in two slots — 12 noon to 2 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm. The training will be conducted under the guidance of Shri Chandrakant Chakole, an expert from Nagpur.
The five-day workshop aims to encourage creativity, hands-on learning, and traditional artistry through clay modeling. Participants will learn techniques to create artistic forms, including cultural and devotional figures.
The participation fee has been fixed at ₹150 per person, making it accessible to art enthusiasts, students, and hobbyists.
