Nagpur Book Club (NBC) announces the inauguration of its Academic Book Bank, a community initiative to support learners across disciplines with free academic books. The launch will be held on Wednesday, 10th September 2025, at 11:30 AM at ZAL Complex, Sadar, Nagpur (Behind Nagpur Furniture).
“The Academic Book Bank is our way of ensuring that no student is held back for want of books. Learners can walk in, show a valid student ID, and take the titles they need—free of cost,” informs Dr. Tejinder Singh Rawal, Founder, Nagpur Book Club.
● Free Distribution to Students: A curated stock across Law, Commerce, Medicine, Engineering, Humanities and more will be available free of cost to students in need.
● Eligibility: Students must produce a school/college ID card (or other credible proof). They may select books relevant to their course of study subject to availability.
● Timings & Location: Open Monday to Saturday, 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm, at ZAL Complex, Sadar, Nagpur(Behind Nagpur Furniture).
● Call for Donations: NBC invites good-condition academic books from all branches. “Donors are requested to bring clean, usable books. Every contribution will be thankfully received and will directly benefit learners,” Dr. Rawal added.
Founded and led by volunteers, the Nagpur Book Club is a community-driven forum that has, for over a decade, promoted the joy of reading and knowledge sharing in central India. NBC hosts author interactions, reading circles, student outreach, and literacy projects. The Academic Book Bank extends NBC’s mission from conversation to concrete access—putting essential books directly into the hands of learners.
