To facilitate passengers during the festive season, Central Railway’s Nagpur Division has decided to run special superfast trains between Nagpur–Pune and Nagpur–Samastipur. These trains will provide safe and comfortable travel options during the upcoming Diwali, Puja, and Chhath festivals. All trains will be fully reserved, and fares will be charged at special rates (1.3 times the normal fare). Tickets will be available at PRS counters and on the IRCTC website/mobile app.
Train No. 01209/01210 Nagpur–Pune–Nagpur Special (20 Trips)
Train No. 01209 Nagpur–Pune will depart every Saturday at 19:40 hrs from Nagpur and arrive in Pune at 11:25 hrs the next day (Sunday). Train No. 01210 Pune–Nagpur will depart Pune every Sunday at 15:50 hrs and reach Nagpur at 06:30 hrs the following day (Monday). This special train will run for 10 trips from Nagpur between 27th September and 29th November, and 10 trips from Pune between 28th September and 30th November.
Stoppages: Nagpur, Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund Chord Line, Uruli, and Pune.
Composition: 6 General, 6 Sleeper Class, 4 AC 3-Tier, and 2 Guard-cum-Luggage vans, totaling 18 coaches (ICF).
Train No. 01207/01208 Nagpur–Samastipur–Nagpur Special (20 Trips)
Train No. 01207 Nagpur–Samastipur will depart every Wednesday at 10:40 hrs from Nagpur and arrive at Samastipur at 21:30 hrs the next day (Thursday). Train No. 01208 Samastipur–Nagpur will depart Samastipur every Thursday at 23:45 hrs and reach Nagpur at 07:00 hrs on Saturday morning. This special train will run for 10 trips from Nagpur between 24th September and 26th November, and 10 trips from Samastipur between 25th September and 27th November.
Stoppages: Nagpur, Betul, Jujharpur, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshmi Bai (Jhansi), Kanpur, Aishbagh, Barabanki Jn., Gonda Jn., Basti, Gorakhpur, Chhapra, Chhapra Gramin Jn., Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Samastipur.
Composition: 6 General, 6 Sleeper Class, 4 AC 3-Tier, and 2 Guard-cum-Luggage vans, totaling 18 coaches (ICF).
