Nagpur: Acting under Operation Shakti, Nagpur Crime Branch’s Social Security Branch raided an OYO hotel in Bhilgaon on September 9 and busted a sex racket.
The raid was conducted at MR OYO Hotel, House No. 40, Ward No. 2, Bhilgaon, Jaiswal Bar Square, where accused Manishpal Sudarshan Rajput (49) and his wife Simarani Rajput (50), along with an accomplice identified as Sonu alias Syed Ali, were allegedly running the racket for financial gain.
Police rescued one victim woman from the spot. Cash of ₹1,500, four mobile phones, a DVR, and other material worth ₹1.51 lakh were seized. An FIR has been registered at Yashodharanagar Police Station under relevant sections of BNS and the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
The accused were handed over to Yashodharanagar Police for further investigation.
