Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s (NMC) Swachhata Brand Ambassador Reshal Bhati has made the city proud by becoming the youngest girl from Nagpur to successfully complete the global fitness challenge, HYROX. She achieved this feat on September 7, 2025, at the inaugural HYROX race in Mumbai, completing the event in 2 hours and 23 minutes.
Reshal expressed her gratitude to NMC for its support and to her coaches — Mr. Anil Trivedi, Dr. Sunil Kapgate, and Dr. Amit Samarth — for their crucial guidance. “Crossing the finish line of my first HYROX was an unforgettable moment. It was a last-minute decision, but discipline in diet, sleep, and consistent training made this success possible. I am thankful to NMC for their encouragement, which is motivating youngsters in Nagpur to take fitness seriously. HYROX is an exciting experience, and I hope to bring more participants from Nagpur to the next edition in Bangalore in April 2026,” she said.
Congratulating Reshal, the NMC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting youth talent and fostering a strong sporting culture in the city.
HYROX, also known as the “World Series of Fitness,” is a global race that combines 8 kilometers of running with 8 functional workout stations. It is regarded as one of the toughest yet most engaging multi-functional fitness events worldwide, testing both strength and endurance.
