Nagpur, Wardha, Khajuraho and Maheshwar will host special painting workshops as part of Seva Parv 2025, being celebrated nationwide by the Ministry of Culture from 17 September to 2 October 2025. The festival, inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, aims to unite citizens through service, creativity, and cultural pride.
In Nagpur, two major workshops will be held on 26 September. At the South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC) campus, a session for all age groups is scheduled from 1 pm to 4 pm. On the same day, the Government College of Art and Design will host a full-day workshop from 9 am to 6 pm, with more than 100 professional artists from the region showcasing their creativity on the theme of national development.
The series will also include workshops at Shilpgram, Khajuraho on 24 September, Wardha on 27 September, and Maheshwar on 29 September, where students, youth, and artists will present their vision of a developed India on canvas.
To ensure wider participation, the Ministry of Culture has enabled digital engagement through the Seva Parv portal. Citizens can upload their artworks and photographs at https://amritkaal.nic.in/sewa-parv-individual-participants and share them on social media with the hashtag #SewaParv.
Appealing for maximum participation, Mrs. Aastha Karlekar, Director of SCZCC Nagpur, said that these workshops will beautifully combine tradition with the vision of a developed India, making the festival a collective celebration of art and service.
