Following several complaints of corruption, the District Collector has sealed the office of the famous Shani Shingnapur Temple Trust. Earlier, the Managing Committee of the Trust was dissolved as the devotees had expressed strong objections over their functioning. An Administrator was appointed.
The office was sealed as mishandling of the documents related to the Trust was noticed. The District Collector initiated the action on Saturday and sealed the office to protect the documents. A large number of villagers and devotees had gathered during the action.
