High-value electronic gadgets were stolen from a gaming café in Nandanvan after unidentified thieves broke into the premises late on September 25.
Complainant Rishi Chandrashekhar Gupta (39), a resident of Nehru Nagar near SBI Bank, told police that he had locked his shop, Gaming Café, around 10.15 pm and gone home. When he returned the next morning at 10.30 am, he found the shutter lock broken and several expensive devices missing.
The burglars made away with a Sony PlayStation with controllers, a Coconut BLK CPU, Intel and Ryzen processors, XPG RAM, a Crucial hard drive, a graphics card and other accessories. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at ₹2,91,300.
Based on Gupta’s complaint, Nandanvan Police have booked an unidentified accused under Sections 305, 331(3) and 331(4) of the BNS. Further investigations are on.
