Air India Express is planning to expand its flight operations from Nagpur. Starting December, passengers from Nagpur will get three additional flight options. The airline has started preparations to begin new services from Nagpur to major cities.
At present, the airline operates flights connecting Nagpur with Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru. These three routes have the highest demand and maximum occupancy. In light of this, Air India Express has decided to strengthen its operations by adding three more flights beginning in December.
According to sources, discussions are underway to start additional flights to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata. With these additions, air connectivity from Nagpur will improve significantly. The expansion will also help passengers traveling for business and tourism, while giving a boost to the city’s economic and logistic network.
The airline is also considering starting direct flights between Nagpur and Gulf countries in the future, given the growing passenger demand.
