A kick-off meeting (KOM) was held today to mark the commencement of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station project at Budhwari Bazaar, Sakkardara. The meeting was chaired by Additional Commissioner Vaishnavi B. Officials from the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Electrical, Estate, Project, and Health departments were present.
During the meeting, several key aspects related to the project were discussed, including the removal of JCB vehicles and garbage machines from the site, demolition of the compound wall, ensuring minimal tree cutting, and maintaining cleanliness across the premises. The Additional Commissioner instructed that all activities be completed within the stipulated time frame and in adherence to environmental standards.
This project aims to establish vital EV charging infrastructure across the city, promoting clean energy and contributing to Nagpur’s vision of becoming a leader in sustainable and green urban transportation.
