Nagpur — The recently declared results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final, Intermediate, and Foundation examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) brought cheer to several students from Nagpur, with many achieving outstanding ranks.
In the CA Final examination, Sahil Motwani emerged as the city topper with 426 marks, followed by Harshita Paliwal (388), Siddhi Agrawal (376), Vatsal Sahasrabuddhe (375), and Kartik Aswani (363).
According to ICAI, 51,955 candidates appeared for Group I, out of which 12,811 cleared the exam, marking a pass percentage of 24.66%. For Group II, 32,273 candidates appeared and 8,151 qualified, resulting in a 25.26% pass percentage. In the Both Groups category, 16,800 students appeared, with 2,727 passing, recording a 16.23% success rate.
Following the announcement, a total of 11,466 candidates across India officially qualified as Chartered Accountants.
In the CA Intermediate examination, city students also put up an impressive performance. Tanisha Chaurasiya (405)topped locally, followed by Soumya Modi (404), Twinkle Singh (397), Dhruv Patel (389), and Poonam Hedaoo (381).
Out of 93,074 candidates who appeared for Group I, 8,780 cleared the exam with a 9.43% pass rate, while Group IIsaw 18,938 successful candidates out of 69,768, achieving a 27.14% pass percentage. For both groups, 36,398 students appeared, with 3,663 passing, marking a 10.06% overall pass rate.
At the Foundation level, Adil Hassani (300 marks) led the city list, followed by Nihal Choudhary (283) and Ambar Acharya (277).
The Foundation examination, held in September 2025, saw 98,827 candidates appear across 544 centres. Of these, 14,609 cleared the exam, recording an overall pass percentage of 14.78%. Among them, male candidates registered a 15.74% pass rate (8,046 out of 51,120), while female candidates recorded 13.76% (6,563 out of 47,707).
The results once again reflect the city’s growing academic excellence and commitment toward one of the nation’s most prestigious professional qualifications.
