Nagpur: The much-awaited Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav 2025 is set to commence on Friday evening at the grounds of Ishwar Deshmukh College of Physical Education, Krida Square, Hanuman Nagar, bringing with it a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and tradition. The inauguration ceremony will take place at 6:30 pm, with Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj, spiritual leader and treasurer of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust, presiding as the chief guest.

The inaugural event will also see the presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, State Revenue and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the acclaimed writer and director known for cultural works such as Chanakya and Samrat Prithviraj.
Several prominent public representatives, including MLAs Krishna Khopde, Mohan Mate, Praveen Datke, MLC Sandeep Joshi, and other former MLAs and BJP office-bearers, are expected to attend the ceremony.
Cultural Extravaganza to Follow
Following the inauguration, audiences will be treated to a theatrical performance of ‘Hamare Ram’, featuring renowned actor Ashutosh Rana in the lead role.
The 12-day festival will feature morning and evening sessions, showcasing a diverse lineup of religious, cultural, and artistic programmes. Local talent from Nagpur will share the stage with national and international artists, making the event a confluence of traditional and contemporary art forms.

Prof. Anil Sole, Chairman of the MP Cultural Festival Organizing Committee, along with other committee members, has appealed to Nagpur residents to participate enthusiastically and support the festival, which continues to serve as one of the city’s most anticipated cultural highlights each year.
