Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning after his family decided to continue his treatment at home, according to his attending doctor.
The 89-year-old actor, who has been in and out of hospital over the past few weeks, was released around 7:30 a.m., confirmed Dr. Pratit Samdani. “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital this morning. His family has opted for home-based treatment,” Dr. Samdani said.
The actor, who has had a long and illustrious career in Hindi cinema spanning over six decades, was recently admitted for health complications. His family and medical team will now oversee his recovery at home.
