The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the timetable for the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board exams for the 2026 session. Students can download the detailed date sheets from the official website — cisce.org.
According to the schedule, the ISC Class 12 exams will be held from February 12 to April 6, 2026, while the ICSE Class 10 exams will take place between February 17 and March 30, 2026. The upcoming exams will begin a few days earlier than last year’s schedule.
The ICSE timetable includes 75 subjects, while the ISC schedule covers 50 subjects across Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams.
Exam day guidelines issued
CISCE has also released detailed instructions for exam day, including reporting and reading time:
For ISC (Class 12) candidates:
- An extra 15 minutes of reading time is provided before writing begins.
- For exams starting at 2 PM, reading time begins at 1:45 PM.
- For exams starting at 9 AM, reading time begins at 8:45 AM.
- Students must be seated by 1:30 PM for afternoon sessions and 8:30 AM for morning sessions.
For ICSE (Class 10) candidates:
- Students also get 15 minutes of reading time before the exam starts.
- For exams starting at 11 AM, reading time begins at 10:45 AM.
- For exams starting at 9 AM, reading time begins at 8:45 AM.
- Candidates should be seated by 10:30 AM for 11 AM papers and 8:30 AM for 9 AM papers.
The CISCE has urged all students to carefully follow the instructions and arrive on time to ensure smooth conduct of the 2026 board examinations.
