The skill-based initiative ‘Shiksha Plus’, implemented by Helplink Charitable Foundation, was inaugurated on Friday at the Bhartiya Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya.
The digital classroom was inaugurated by Pramod Nat, Superintendent, Education Department (Secondary), Nagpur, by cutting the ribbon. The event was graced by Milind Kamble, Director of Golwalkar Guruji School, Pune; Anil Bafna, Founder of Helplink Charitable Foundation; Career Counsellor Sanjay Kulkarni; Ramesh Bakshi, Secretary of the Bhartiya Vidya Prasarak Sanstha; School Principal Dr. Vandana Badwaik; and founders Hemant Lodha, Prabha Lodha, Kirti Kalyani, and Saloni Bagwan. Also present were Ravindra Lashkare, Raju Mukkewar, Sunil Khankhoje, Gadge Sir, Rahul Pethe, and Nachiket Dada. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries.
On this occasion, the study material titled “Shiksha Plus – A Skill-Based Initiative” was released, and the concept of the Golwalkar International AI School was unveiled. Helplink Foundation will also conduct spoken English classes at Nutan Bharat Vidyalaya.
Speaking at the event, Sanjay Kulkarni highlighted the importance of the new project for personality development. He said: “Not just academic knowledge, but responsibility, cleanliness, mother-tongue proficiency, learning new languages, and social awareness—these small things are expressions of true patriotism.” Pramod Nat said: “Education plays an exceptional role in shaping good citizens, and these children will build the nation in the future.”
Principal Dr. Badwaik emphasized the need for students to acquire diverse skills along with academics. Under the ‘Shiksha Plus’ programme, students will receive training in English communication, personality development, communication skills, and practical knowledge.
The introduction was given by Anil Bafna, while anchoring and the vote of thanks were delivered by Dr. Ashwini Deshmukh.
