Competitive action continued at the Late Shri Pankajkumar Madholal Parikh Memorial Handicap Snicket Tournament on Sunday, with two teams securing important victories to move ahead in the prestigious event at Gondwana Club.
In the opening match of the day, Raju Kamwani and Nikhil Surjan delivered a composed and coordinated performance to overcome Sanjeet Jaiswal and Rajesh Deshpande. Maintaining consistent scoring throughout the contest, Raju and Nikhil sealed their advancement with a 151–135 win.
The second encounter saw Vaibhav Rai and Tarun Mohtaa assert dominance right from the start against Siddharth Samel and Garuv Agrawal. Their superior accuracy and strategic approach left their opponents unable to catch up, resulting in a commanding 129–77 victory.
With both winning pairs—Kamwani–Surjan and Rai–Mohtaa—progressing to the next round, the tournament now heads into an exciting phase as teams continue their quest for the championship title.
