Nagpur: A 34-year-old man lost his life in a tragic accident at Varuna Multispeciality Hospital in Bajaj Nagar jurisdiction during the early hours of November 16.
The deceased, identified as Krishna Vinayak Boltane, a resident of Ward No. 3, Datt Mandir, Ghumdi, Kamptee, had visited the hospital to check on his friend, Shubham Chaudhary, who was admitted for treatment.
Around 2 am, Krishna stepped out to answer nature’s call and reportedly walked toward the area below the hospital premises. While doing so, he accidentally stepped on the lid of a water tank. The cover gave way, causing him to fall inside.
He was immediately pulled out and rushed to Government Medical Hospital, where doctors declared him dead before treatment.
Based on a complaint by Chandrahar Vinayak Boltane (35), Bajaj Nagar Police have registered a case of accidental death.
