Biggest edition yet with technology-driven theme; top Union ministers, CMs, and agri-industry giants to attend
Nagpur is gearing up for one of its biggest agricultural events as Agrovision 2025—Central India’s largest agri exhibition—opens on November 21 at the RTMNU ground on Amravati Road. The four-day mega expo, conceptualized by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, is entering its 16th edition with an aggressive push on innovation under this year’s theme: “Technology Will Drive Agricultural Growth.” Preparations are in the final stretch, and organizers expect record participation from farmers, companies and agri-tech institutions across the country.
The exhibition will be inaugurated at 10:30 a.m. by Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while Gadkari will preside. A high-powered lineup—including Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane, Ministers of State Ashish Jaiswal and Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, NDDB CMD Dr. Minesh Shah, and industry leaders from UPL, TAFE, Sonalika, Mahindra, and SML Group—will mark their presence, signaling the scale of this year’s edition.
Agrovision 2025 packs a powerful schedule: daily workshops from 12 noon to 5 p.m., long-duration training sessions, and a series of high-impact seminars. The opening day features a major workshop on dairy technologies with Pankaja Munde as chief guest, along with a national seminar on beekeeping in partnership with MSME. November 22 spotlights agri-startups with STPI, followed by an in-depth session on modern sugarcane cultivation. November 23 focuses on FPO development and the rising role of Artificial Intelligence in agriculture, featuring leaders like Jaykumar Gore and Dr. Pratap Pawar. The final day will centre on citrus technology, offering Vidarbha’s orange growers exposure to advanced Spanish techniques and AI-based production systems.
Over 60 experts will guide farmers, while major agri companies—TAFE, Kubota, Mahindra, John Deere, Ankur, Mahabeej, Rasi, Mahyco, BKT, ITC, and others—will showcase cutting-edge solutions. The valedictory session on November 24 will see Gadkari, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule on stage, underscoring Agrovision’s rising national clout.
