In a planned maintenance exercise, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will halt operations at its Pench-2 and Pench-3 water treatment plants for 12 hours on November 21. The shutdown, scheduled from 10 am to 10 pm, is required to complete a 900×900 mm interconnection work linking the Amrut feeder with the existing 900 mm feeder at Pulia No. 10 Square.
As a result, water supply from 23 overhead tanks across several key localities in the city will remain suspended throughout the day.
The NMC’s Water Works Department and its operator, OCW, have urged residents to store sufficient drinking water in advance to avoid inconvenience.
