Nagpur; An 18-month-old boy died on Saturday evening after accidentally falling from the first floor of a house in Kukde Layout, Ajni, during a family visit for a programme.
According to Ajni Police, the complainant’s son, Rihansh Dharamvir Ugle, was attending an event at the residence of Rohit Tanputhe around 6.30 pm on November 22. While playing on the first floor, the toddler slipped and fell, sustaining severe injuries and losing consciousness.
He was immediately rushed to Government Medical Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared the child dead around 10.30 pm.
The boy’s mother, Kavita Dharamvir Ugle (30), resident of Manegaon, Ward No. 5, Khaparkheda, filed a report, following which Ajni Police registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is ongoing.
