The office of the Association for Industrial Development (AID) at Glocal Mall, Sitabuldi, Nagpur, was inaugurated on Monday by the Minister of State for Finance & Planning Adv. Ashish Jaiswal and Minister of State for Home & School Education Pankaj Bhoyar.
The event was attended by former Mayor Prof. Anil Sole, AID President Ashish Kale, Secretary Dr. Vijaykumar Sharma, and Treasurer Prof. Rajesh Bagdi.
Bringing entrepreneurs together is vital – Pankaj Bhoyar Minister of State for Home & School Education Pankaj Bhoyar said, Entrepreneurs are extremely busy. Bringing them on a common platform, presenting pending issues before the government, and creating awareness among industries in Vidarbha is an important role played by organizations like AID. He highlighted the vast potential of tiger tourism, saying it would significantly boost the region’s economic growth.
AID’s contribution is remarkable – Adv. Ashish JaiswalMinister of State for Finance Adv. Ashish Jaiswal said, AID is playing an important role in the development of Vidarbha and Nagpur. To shape the future of the next generations, adherence to the industry policy and its effective implementation is essential. It is important to prevent the outflow of resources like coal and manganese and encourage local development. He added that Gadchiroli district has the potential to become one of the major contributors to Maharashtra’s development.
He further stated, “For the vision of a developed Maharashtra by 2047, priority must be given to infrastructure, employment generation, and timely implementation of policies. If the Vision Document 2047 is executed properly, Maharashtra can significantly contribute to the nation’s economic growth.”
AID President Ashish Kale shared that AID completed two years on 16 November. He said efforts are underway to achieve the goals set by AID’s mentor Nitin Gadkari. We are realizing the vision of bringing all entrepreneurs of Vidarbha onto one platform, he added.
During the event, Riddhi Bagdi, consultant for Interior designer of AID was felicitated. Dr. Vijaykumar Sharma presented AID’s annual report. Highlighting AID’s contribution to logistic and tourism policies, he announced that the GCC Conference will be held in January 2026, and the third edition of Advantage Vidarbha will be held in February 2026.
He also informed that, through Vidarbha Global Foundation, AID will soon launch a Skill Satellite Centre in collaboration with Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Tata Strive. Dr. Sharma also conducted the proceedings of the event. Pranav Sharma proposed a vote of thanks.
AID Vice President Girdhari Mantri, Executive Members Prashant Ugemuge, Rajesh Rokde, and Avinash Ghushe were also present on the occasion.
