Nagpur: A series of educational and creative competitions organised by Gramayan Pratishthan for students of Classes 5 to 11 witnessed an enthusiastic response, showcasing the talent and social awareness of young participants. The events were held at Dattaji Didolkar Bhavan in Pande Layout.
The competitions featured a wide range of themes, including teenage nutrition and fitness, e-libraries, artificial intelligence, environment, cleanliness and health. Students took part in poster-making, essay writing, storytelling, street plays and creating useful items from household packaging materials. Many participants impressed with innovative ideas and artistic skills, particularly in the storytelling category for Classes 5 to 7, where students highlighted environmental issues with clarity and sensitivity.
One of the key attractions was a street play and an orientation session on teenage diet and lifestyle, which resonated strongly with the audience. Students also displayed creativity by transforming everyday packaging materials into attractive and functional items.
Schools from across Nagpur district participated, earning appreciation from organisers and attendees alike. The seamless management of the Gramayan team contributed to the smooth execution of the event.
Results of the competitions will be announced during the ‘Gramayan Udyam Parasadhar’ programme, scheduled to be held at Kusumtai Wankhede Hall from December 27 to 30.
