Under the leadership of Tourism Minister Shri Shambhuraj Desai and Minister of State for Tourism Shri Indranil Naik, and guided by Principal Secretary Shri Sanjay Khandare and Managing Director Shri Nilesh Gatne, the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) organized a Heritage Walk in the Civil Lines area of Nagpur on Thursday.

The walk began at the General Post Office (GPO) and covered significant heritage spots including the Old Secretariat, A.G. Office, British-era buildings in the vicinity, and the majestic Old High Court building. The walk concluded back at the GPO. Participants experienced a complete heritage tour and had the opportunity to reconnect with the city’s historical legacy and spiritual heritage.

The walk was coordinated by Shri Dinesh Patil, Senior Regional Manager, MTDC Nagpur, and Architect Sandeep Pathe, Conservation Architect from Studio Sakha.

They provided detailed insights into the architecture, conservation needs, and historical relevance of the Civil Lines area.
