Flight operations connecting Nagpur with key metro cities are likely to be disrupted on Wednesday after IndiGo cancelled four services on the Nagpur–Bengaluru and Nagpur–Kolkata sectors.
The cancelled flights include 6E 909 from Nagpur to Bengaluru and 6E 6802 from Bengaluru to Nagpur. Services on the eastern route have also been affected, with flight 6E 6407 from Kolkata to Nagpur and flight 6E 6415 from Nagpur to Kolkata cancelled for the day.
IndiGo has been facing intermittent operational disruptions over the past few days. While earlier cancellations were linked to staff and crew shortages, the airline has now attributed the latest disruptions to adverse weather conditions affecting operations in several cities. These conditions have led to both cancellations and delays across multiple routes.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight status before proceeding to the airport.
Meanwhile, several flights on the Nagpur–Delhi sector were delayed. On Tuesday, delays were also reported on flights to and from Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Kolkata. These included Delhi–Nagpur flight 6E 6696 delayed by 44 minutes, 6E 6619 by two hours, 6E 5022 by 22 minutes and 6E 6530 by 35 minutes. Nagpur–Delhi services 6E 6620 were delayed by one hour and 40 minutes, 6E 6697 by 18 minutes and 6E 2099 by 50 minutes.
