Nagpur experienced a noticeable winter chill as the minimum temperature dipped to 8.6°C, marking one of the colder nights of the season in the region, according to the latest weather data.
The city’s maximum temperature settled at 29.2°C, slightly below normal, while humidity levels hovered around 69%. Visibility during the morning hours was reported between 2–4 km, indicating mild haze conditions.
Across Vidarbha, several districts reported cool nights. Gondia recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the region at 8.2°C, followed by Yavatmal at 9.0°C and Wardha at 9.6°C. Day temperatures across most districts ranged between 26°C and 32°C, remaining near seasonal averages.
No rainfall was recorded in any district, and dry weather conditions are expected to continue. Meteorological officials said the gradual drop in night temperatures is consistent with seasonal trends, and residents can expect cool mornings and relatively warm afternoons over the next few days.
