Over 1,500 players, entrepreneurs, and representatives from 27 states will participate in the All India Maheshwari Sangathan’s Yuva (AIMS) National Sports Festival and Business Conclave, scheduled to be held in Nagpur from December 26.
Maheshwari youth will compete in a wide range of sports, including cricket, women’s cricket, chess, futsal, swimming, running, lawn tennis, pickleball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, carrom, and pool. A total of 22 teams will participate in the cricket tournament. Attractive cash prizes have been announced for winners across various competitions, which will be conducted at 14 venues across the city.
The three-day event is being organised by the Vidarbha Regional Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan, hosted by the Nagpur District Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan, presented by the Vidarbha Maheshwari Sports Association and Solar Industries India Ltd, and powered by the Visvaraj Group. The inaugural ceremony will be held at 11 am on December 26 at Goenka Farms and will be inaugurated by noted industrialist Satyanarayan Nuwal.
A team of over 200 volunteers, led by Sharad Soni, Pushpak Laddha, Himanshu Chandak, Prashant Mohota, Sagar Lohiya, Amol Bajaj, Mahesh Bajaj, Vivek Sarda, Pranay Daga, Krishna Mandhana, Dharmendra Bajaj, Anil Sarda, Niraj Loya, and Mayur Rathi, is working extensively to ensure the success of the event.
