Pul_Kutilil…, Hallelooyya…, Daivam Pirakkunnu ……..,along with many other Malayalam songs were sung by children and Parishners of St. Jude Syro Malabar Church, Untkhana, Nagpur, who went around singing, dancing, beating drums in the Christmas Carols, spreading the message of peace, love and togetherness with Santa Claus, to all the houses of all their Parish members of all the areas of entire Nagpur in 15 days starting from 9th to 23rd Dec. 2025.

The Children and elders, sprouting red cone caps, 20 to 30 in numbers moved on, in their own vehicles with enthusiasm and in joyful mood starting from 6.30 pm every day. Verses from Bible were read out in each house, singing and wishing them Merry Christmas and Happy New year. Each house made sure that all ate cakes and snacks served by them, after the singing.

Carol singing continues to unite people of diverse backgrounds, manifesting the true spirit of Christmas. “It’s not just the Catholic community Festival but an organised informal culture, integrating historical tradition that transcends time and borders,” said Fr Jose Kurian, Pastoral in-charge, St. Jude Syro-Malabar Church, Untkhana.
