The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will carry out gantry installation work on the Samruddhi Expressway between the Dhamangaon and Chandur Railway sections from December 27 to 29.
The work is part of installing the High-Speed Traffic Management System (HTMS) on the expressway.According to an advisory issued by MSRDC, traffic on the affected stretches will be suspended for 45 to 60 minutes during the work.
The section-wise traffic restrictions are as follows:
- Nagargawandi (Nagpur side): December 28, between 2 pm and 4 pm, for about one hour.
- Titwa section (Nagpur side): December 29, between 11 am and 1 pm.
- Titwa section (Mumbai side): December 29, between 3 pm and 5 pm.
- Nagargawandi section (Mumbai side), at km 104.80 and km 105.50: December 27, between 2 pm and 4 pm, for about one hour.
The gantry installation work will be carried out in five phases over a two-day period.
