The Rotary Youth Exchange Programme, an international student exchange initiative of Rotary International, has opened applications for its upcoming exchange cycle for higher secondary school students aged between 15 and 18 years. The last date for submitting applications is December 31, 2025.
The programme offers students an opportunity to study abroad, experience new cultures and languages, and serve as cultural ambassadors of their home country. It is a school-based exchange conducted in two formats — a long-term programme spanning one full academic year of 10 months, and a short-term programme lasting between four and six weeks.
According to Rotary International, the key objectives of the Youth Exchange Programme include promoting international understanding and world peace, broadening students’ global perspectives through exposure to diverse cultures, and developing leadership and communication skills among young participants.
The programme is open to students from both Rotarian and non-Rotarian families. Interested candidates can apply through any Rotary Club in their locality. Further details and application guidance are available with local Rotary Clubs.
