Celebrating National Tourism Day, the Travel and Tourism Department of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) recently organised a ‘Heritage Walk’. Held in the historic Mahal area, one of Nagpur’s oldest and culturally rich neighbourhoods, the event saw enthusiastic participation from students. During the walk, Dr Amardeep Barsagade shared insights on Nagpur’s founding under Bakht Buland Shah and highlighted the architectural features of Gond, Bhonsle, and British-era monuments.
