The Maharashtra government is organising the Ramtek Cultural Festival 2026 on a grand scale from January 30 to February 1 at Nehru Ground, Ramtek. The three-day festival will present a vibrant mix of music, poetry, folk arts and sports, offering visitors a rich cultural experience.
As part of the celebrations, renowned singer Sudesh Bhosale will perform on January 30, noted poet Kumar Vishwas on January 31, and celebrated playback singer Sonu Nigam on February 1, captivating audiences with their performances.
The festival will also feature a wide range of cultural presentations showcasing diverse art forms.
To promote public participation, several sports competitions have been organised from January 28, with attractive prizes announced for the winners. Considering the expected large turnout, adequate parking facilities have been arranged at various locations across the town.
Food stalls run by women’s self-help groups will also be set up to provide them with economic support.
The Ramtek Cultural Festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and several other dignitaries will be present on the occasion.
Addressing a press conference, Minister of State Adv. Ashish Jaiswal appealed to citizens to participate in large numbers and help make the festival a grand success.
