Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has announced its men’s chess team for the upcoming Western Zone Inter-University Chess Championship, scheduled to be held from March 2 to 6, 2026, at Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate University.The selected players are Dishank Sachin Bajaj, Kshitij Mundalia, Rajat Shankar Kamble, Rishikesh Lohit, Ansh Dhananjay, and Rudrash Borkar. The team will be accompanied by coach Jeet Thakre, who will provide strategic guidance and support throughout the tournament.University officials conveyed their best wishes to the squad and expressed confidence that the team’s preparation will help them deliver an impressive performance at the championship.
