In accordance with directives from the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra, and in view of the prevailing tensions across the Middle East and neighbouring regions, Indian embassies have issued a security advisory for Indian nationals residing in the affected countries.Indian citizens living in Palestine (Ramallah), Qatar (Doha), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), Israel (Tel Aviv), Iran (Tehran), Iraq (Baghdad), Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) have been urged to remain vigilant, avoid unnecessary travel, and strictly adhere to instructions issued by local authorities and Indian embassies.In case of any emergency, nationals are advised to immediately contact the 24×7 helpline numbers provided by the respective Indian embassies.The embassies are closely monitoring the situation and continuing to issue timely guidance. The Maharashtra Government has also affirmed that it remains alert and is coordinating with the Central Government and concerned embassies to ensure the safety of its citizens.
