The is organizing a “Pink Marathon” on Sunday, 8 March, on the occasion of International Women’s Day to celebrate women’s strength and honor womanhood. The event will be held at , Dhantoli. Attractive prizes will be awarded to women participants, and the Corporation has appealed to women to participate in large numbers.
Dedicated to women, this special Pink Marathon aims to promote health, confidence, and empowerment while honoring women’s strength. The event is being organized on 8 March under the guidance of Mayor Mrs. .
The “Pink Marathon” will be conducted in three categories:
- 3 km run for girls under 16 years
- 5 km run for the general category
- 2 km Special Pink Run
5 km Route (General Category)
The marathon will start from and proceed via Maharashtra Bank Chowk, Jhansi Rani Chowk, University Library Chowk, Alankar Talkies Chowk, Kachhipura Chowk, (Annabhau Sathe Chowk), Rahate Colony Metro Station Chowk, Rahate Colony Gorakshan Sabha Chowk, Home Guard Office, Dhantoli Garden, Mehadia Chowk, and conclude at .
3 km Route (Under 16 Category)
The race will begin at and pass through Maharashtra Bank Chowk, Jhansi Rani Chowk, University Library Chowk, Kalpana Building, Lokmat Chowk, Dhantoli Garden, Mehadia Chowk, and end at .
2 km Special Pink Run Route
The route will be from to Panchsheel Chowk, University Library, Kalpana Building, Lokmat Chowk, Panchsheel Chowk, and will conclude at .
