Acting during routine patrolling, Unit 5 of Crime Branch in the Wathoda Police Station limits apprehended a 20-year-old youth for allegedly performing motorcycle stunts and riding in a rash and negligent manner on a public road, endangering the lives of commuters here, on Wednesday.Officials stated that the accused was spotted riding recklessly and engaging in stunt-biking on a busy stretch within the jurisdiction. Sensing danger to pedestrians and other motorists, the patrolling team pursued the biker and successfully intercepted him after a brief chase.
The accused has been identified as Suraj Singh Vikram Singh (20), a resident of Lal Godown locality in Jaripatka. After being taken into custody, he was handed over to traffic personnel deployed at the naka-bandi near Swaminarayan Temple under the Pardi Traffic Division for further legal proceedings.Police have reiterated that stringent action will be taken against individuals indulging in stunt riding and reckless driving, warning that such acts not only violate traffic laws but also pose a serious risk to public safety. Further legal action is underway.
