Students from Nagpur have achieved notable success in the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Eight candidates from the Pre-IAS Training Centre (PITC) have secured ranks in the exam, moving a step closer to becoming administrative officers.

Rutuja Gaikwad emerged as the top performer from the centre by securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 106, confirming her position for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Other successful candidates include Rajat Walke (514), Bhagyashri Naikale (647), Prajwal Nasre (677), Chetan Thakare (662), Rajshree Deshmukh (754), Pranjali Meshram (767), Hemkrishna Pisade (849), and Suresh Borkar (912).
Dr Pramod Lakhe, Chief Coordinator of the Maharashtra Interview Preparation Programme, said the success rate of students from the Pre-IAS Training Centre is steadily increasing. This year, 117 students participated in the interview preparation programme, with more than 90 clearing the state-level stage.
