Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has set up a fact-finding committee to review the fee structure for BBA and BCA courses after concerns were raised during the Senate meeting.
Senior member R. G. Bhoyar argued that the current fee of around ?45,000 is too high and should ideally be between ?12,000 and ?13,000. The fee was fixed by the Fee Fixation Committee after colleges had proposed amounts up to ?70,000.
Vice-Chancellor Manali Kshirsagar constituted a committee including Manmohan Bajpayee, Ajay Agrawal, and R. G. Bhoyar to examine the fee-fixation process and submit a report.
The university has also announced that hostel students will receive free WiFi from the next academic year.
