Nagpur Division of Central Railway successfully organised the 3rd Women’s Box Cricket Tournament – 2026, which was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Divisional Railway Manager, Shri Vinayak Garg, in the august presence of Smt. Deepa Garg, President, Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from women employees of various departments of Nagpur Division. The event aimed at promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and encouraging greater participation of women in sporting activities within the railway fraternity.
All trophies for the tournament were sponsored by the National Railway Mazdoor Union.
After a series of exciting matches, the Mechanical Department emerged as the Winner of the tournament, while the TRS team secured the Runner-Up position.

Woman of the Final Match: Parvati K. (Mechanical )
Best Batsman: Ashwini (Mechanical )
Best Bowler: Khushbu (TRS)
Woman of the Tournament: Parvati K. (Mechanical )
The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners and outstanding players were felicitated for their remarkable performances.
The event reflected the Nagpur Division’s continued commitment to promoting sports culture, employee engagement, and women empowerment within the organisation.
